Kent Family Medical is a local, family-run business providing private GP services in Kent in our new, bespoke clinic in Mereworth.
Our founders have a breadth of healthcare experience, with over 50 years within the NHS between them. We aim to provide a local, accessible private GP and healthcare service that is centred around you and your family.
It is important to us that our patients feel listened to and are given time to express their concerns. We aim to work with you to understand your healthcare needs and to help you feel empowered in all aspects of your health and well-being.

Dr Becky Prince
Dr Becky Prince is a GP who has worked within the NHS for almost 20 years. Her interests include mental health, diabetes and women’s health. She has formal accreditation as a GP with an enhanced role in Mental Health and is the GP clinical lead for diabetes for Kent and Medway.
She graduated from Cambridge University in 2004 and completed her GP training at Guys and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She continues to work at her NHS practice where she has been for the last 13 years, alongside her clinics with Kent Family Medical.
Helen is a qualified dietitian who has worked within the NHS for over 12 years, following her graduation in both sports science and dietetics. She has been the lead dietitian for a large Kent trust specialising in the full breadth of dietetics.
Helen has expertise in clinical nutrition, weight loss, gut health, menopause, inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
She has worked extensively with patients with eating disorders, cancer and diabetes. Helen also has significant experience working with children – particularly those who struggle with fussy eating, overeating or sensory food aversion.
Dr Nick Prince
Dr Nick Prince is an NHS Consultant Paediatrician and Intensivist with special expertise in healthcare education, training and service delivery. He graduated from Cambridge University in 2004 and completed his paediatric training at Great Ormond Street, Kings and the Evelina Children’s Hospitals, London.
He is the Training Programme Director for the London School of Paediatrics and College Tutor at St George’s Hospital, London, where he continues to work as a Paediatric Intensive Care Consultant.
